After enjoying breakfast, your journey through Cairo’s ancient wonders begins at 8:00 AM with a full-day visit to the iconic Pyramids of Giza. These magnificent structures, built around 2500 BC, served as the necropolis for the kings of the fourth dynasty. Nearby, you will also witness the legendary Sphinx, a majestic guardian with the body of a lion and the head of a human. The tour continues with visits to a papyrus fair, a perfume factory, and a cotton shop, where you can explore traditional Egyptian craftsmanship. Later, you will explore the Egyptian Museum, home to an extensive collection of Pharaonic antiquities spanning various historical periods. An early breakfast is followed by a scenic private transfer to Alexandria at 7:00 AM. The journey, covering 225 km, takes approximately two and a half hours. Upon arrival, you will explore the fascinating Catacombs of Kom El-Shoqafa, the largest Roman cemetery with a remarkable three-level underground structure carved into the rock. The tour continues with a visit to the Ancient Roman Amphitheater, an impressive theater with marble seating for up to 800 spectators, along with galleries, mosaic flooring, and surrounding Roman villas and baths.
