Embark on a 9-day journey through Korea, exploring historic cities, cultural landmarks, and breathtaking landscapes. Travel by bus and high-speed train with an English-speaking guide, experiencing traditional villages, UNESCO sites, bustling markets, and serene temples. Highlights include Seoul’s palaces, Busan’s coastal charm, the Demilitarized Zone, and the rich heritage of Gyeongju and Andong. Accommodation, breakfast, and select meals are included for a seamless travel experience.

Day 1: Sun 20 Apr 2025 – Arrival in Seoul
Welcome to Korea! Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel, where you’ll have some free time. In the afternoon, you’ll receive information regarding the start of your tour. -
Day 2: Mon 21 Apr 2025 – Seoul – DMZ Cheorwon Excursion
We’ll head to the Cheorwon region to explore the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ), marking the division between the two Koreas. Our journey includes the Second Tunnel, secretly dug by North Korea and discovered in 1975, followed by the Cheorwon Peace Observatory, offering panoramic views of the DMZ and the first villages in North Korea. Inside, a small museum provides insights into the Korean War. We’ll also visit the abandoned Woljeong-ri railway station and the Baek Ma Battle Memorial, dedicated to a historic battle involving a French UN battalion. Lunch will be included. To conclude, we’ll visit a local producer of Makgeolli, a traditional Korean rice liquor, before returning to Seoul in the evening. Important Note: Passports are required for this tour. The DMZ is a military zone and may close unexpectedly. In such cases, an alternative tour will be arranged. In the evening, we’ll visit City Hall, a remarkable tsunami-inspired building, and admire the beautifully illuminated Deoksugung Palace, reflecting the harmony of tradition and modernity. From there, we’ll explore Myeongdong, the country’s most famous shopping and entertainment district, meaning "bright town." Dinner is included at a local restaurant, and we’ll return to the hotel via the efficient metro system (ticket included). Overnight stay in Seoul. -
Day 3: Tue 22 Apr 2025 – Seoul
We’ll embark on an extensive five-hour exploration of the city, starting with Changdeokgung Palace, a UNESCO World Heritage Site set within a sprawling park. Next, we’ll stroll through Bukchon Hanok Village, a historic district filled with traditional houses. A visit to the War Memorial of Korea follows, providing deep insights into the country’s conflicts, particularly the Korean War, which saw soldiers from various nations fighting under the United Nations. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Later, we’ll visit Gangnam, one of the city’s liveliest districts known for its shopping and entertainment scene. Our final stop of the day is Lotte World Tower, a striking 550-meter skyscraper. You’ll have free time to ascend the observation deck (ticket not included) or explore the surrounding luxury malls and park. Afterward, we’ll return to the hotel, and the rest of the evening is free. -
Day 4: Wed 23 Apr 2025 – Seoul – Suwon – Jeonju
Our day begins with a visit to Gyeongbokgung Palace, a historical masterpiece with over 600 years of heritage. If timed correctly, we’ll witness the ceremonial changing of the guard. We’ll then leave Seoul and head south to Suwon, the former capital, renowned for its UNESCO-listed fortress walls. Here, we’ll explore these impressive structures and visit Hwaseong Haenggung, a royal summer palace. Lunch is included before continuing to Jeonju, where we’ll wander through Hanok Village, a charming district lined with traditional houses, artisan shops, and cultural attractions. Overnight stay in Jeonju. -
Day 5: Thu 24 Apr 2025 – Jeonju – Damyang – Haeinsa – Busan
Our day starts with a visit to Sunchang Gochujang Village, set at the foot of Mount Amisan. This village is famous for its hanok-style houses and traditional production of gochujang (Korean chili paste). We’ll enjoy a hands-on experience making this iconic ingredient. Next, we’ll continue to Damyang to explore the picturesque Juknokwon Bamboo Forest, known for its scenic walking trails and fresh air. Lunch is included, featuring a local specialty: rice cooked and served inside bamboo. We’ll then travel to Haeinsa Temple, a UNESCO-listed Buddhist site dating back to 802, home to the Tripitaka Koreana—80,000 wooden tablets containing Buddhist scriptures. Finally, we’ll arrive in Busan, Korea’s second-largest city, for an overnight stay. -
Day 6: Fri 25 Apr 2025 – Busan
We begin the day with a visit to Haedong Yonggung, a stunning 14th-century Buddhist temple perched along the coastline. Returning to Busan, we’ll explore the UN Memorial Cemetery, honoring fallen soldiers from various nations. Next, we’ll visit the country’s largest fish market, bustling with activity near Nampo Port. Lunch is included. Later, we’ll visit Yongdusan Park, home to a towering 120-meter pagoda offering scenic views of the city. From there, we’ll head to Songdo Beach, where you’ll have the opportunity to ride the country's first marine cable car (ticket included, weather permitting) and admire the breathtaking bay views. Our final stop of the day is the famous Gamcheon Culture Village, known for its vibrant, colorful houses, narrow alleyways, art galleries, pottery workshops, and cozy cafés. Afterward, we’ll return to Busan for an overnight stay. -
Day 7: Sat 26 Apr 2025 – Busan – Seokguram – Bulguksa – Gyeongju – Daegu
Departing from Busan, we’ll visit Seokguram Grotto, an 8th-century Buddhist site nestled on the slopes of Mount Tohamsan. Next, we’ll explore Bulguksa Temple, one of Korea’s most beautiful and historically significant temples. Continuing to Gyeongju, the ancient capital of the Silla Kingdom, we’ll stop at the picturesque Woljeonggyo Bridge, a stunning wooden structure spanning the Namcheon River. Lunch is included before we explore Tumuli Park, home to the burial mounds of Silla kings, dating back over 1,500 years. We’ll also visit Cheomsongdae, the oldest existing astronomical observatory in East Asia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Arriving in Daegu, Korea’s fourth-largest city, we’ll explore Dongsan Cheongna Hill, a historic missionary site, and Dongseong-ro, the city’s bustling shopping and dining street. Overnight stay in Daegu. -
Day 8: Sun 27 Apr 2025 – Daegu – Andong – Hahoe – Seoul
We’ll start the day with a tour of Daegu, including a visit to the Yangnyeongsi Museum of Oriental Medicine, which showcases the region’s rich history of herbal remedies. A walk through the Herbal Medicine Market follows, where ginseng and other medicinal herbs are widely sold. Heading north, we’ll arrive in Andong to visit the outskirts of the UNESCO-listed Hahoe Village, a well-preserved rural community offering a glimpse into Korea’s past. We’ll also explore the Hahoe Mask Museum, displaying masks from various cultures used in traditional performances, religious ceremonies, and medical practices. Lunch is included at a local restaurant. Next, we’ll visit the Byeongsan Seowon Confucian Academy, a peaceful 16th-century institution set in a picturesque riverside landscape. Returning to Seoul in the evening, we’ll make a stop at Banpo Bridge, known for its mesmerizing water and light fountain show (weather permitting). Overnight stay in Seoul. Note: The visit to Banpo Bridge is subject to weather conditions. -
Day 9: Mon 28 Apr 2025 – Seoul (Departure
After breakfast, our journey comes to an end, leaving you with unforgettable memories of South Korea’s history, culture, and natural beauty.

Confirmation and Payment Terms
· Formal confirmation email along with guest Passports & PAN will be required
· 50% advance to be paid at the time of confirmation
· Balance 50% to be paid on or before the cut off date, which will be mentioned after confirmation
· All bookings are on pre payment basis.
· The itinerary will be released once payment receipts are confirmed.
· In case there are any tax liabilities or bank charges involved they would have to be borne by you.

Cancellation Term
- Once after confirmation : Rs 5000 per person
- Before Cut off Date : 25% of package cost
- After Cut off Date : 100% of the package amount
- "No Show" is subject to Full Booking Charges
- Amendment, if requested, cost will be provided on case to case basis.

· Hotel, Sightseeing, Meals, Transfers rate might change without any prior notice until & unless it been booked/ confirmed from your end.
· The change in dates will attract re-quote.
· Normal Hotel check-in time is from 14.00 hrs onwards. & check-out time is at 12.00 hrs.
· Additional Bank charges will be applicable, if payment is made in foreign currency.
· The above cost does not include any kind of surcharge if applicable during the given travel period.
· There will be an additional cost for an entire transfer between 22:00 - 07:00 hrs (if not stated inside the package) or out of SIC Schedule timings based on destination of travel.
· Please note there will be time gap between pick up from airport / Hotel check in & flight Landing. Also there will be time gap between flight take off & airport drop/ hotel check out. Hotel check in / out may be at a particular time. Guaranteed early check in / late check out will attract additional charges.
· At check in all guests will be required to present a Major Credit Card or pay a security deposit.
· Quotation is calculated at current exchange rates between as on quoted date. If the exchange rate fluctuates by more than 2% of the rate as on quote date, we reserve the option to revise the price accordingly
· Our quotations to you are in a specific currency and the invoices will be / are in INR to allow you to pay us in India. Hotel Travelia specifies a particular conversion rate for a particular invoice. By accepting or confirming the booking you are accepting the conversion rate specified by us. Quotation might change due to currencies ROE fluctuation during confirmation & booking process.

· If the said hotel is not available, alternate accommodation will be arranged, change in cost if any will be advised.
